Aqua Cycling is a fun and interactive full body exercise, easy on the joints and great for your muscles. It uses specially designed bike frames which sit stationary at the bottom of any pool. Sitting half out of the water, your legs pedal away enjoying the benefits of underwater exercise.

Aqua Cycling brings the motions and benefits of cycling and combines this with the more flexible environment of water. In a low impact, low risk environment, there are possibilities for additional movements which engage more muscle groups and provide greater challenges. Focusing on the key muscle groups for balance, mobility, and flexibility, additional aids can be used to work the core and upper body muscles while you pedal.
The water also provides its own benefits as the support and gentle pressure speeds up blood circulation and helps eliminate fat, burning more calories per hour than an average spinning class. Muscle soreness is reduced, and cellulite areas targeted, as the cool water massages while you move, and as with any underwater exercise your joints are subjected to far less stress. Aqua Cycling will have you feeling fitter, stronger, healthier, and happier than most land-based exercises.
Aqua cycling steps away from the traditional body positions of spin classes and ordinary cycling by providing more unique positions. Utilising the buoyancy of the water you can lean back off the bike and hang on to the seat while pedalling, or for a greater challenge and full body workout you can lean back and scull water while you pedal. Aqua Cycling is a truly versatile exercise because of the ability to cater classes specific to a target person or group, there are many different reasons to get on a bike. No matter your fitness goal, it is possible to see real and increasing benefits from Aqua Cycling.

“Aqua Cycling, where the exercise benefits of water are as easy as riding a bike.”
